Double Major in Neuroscience and English?

I am going to college this coming fall and have decided that it would be in my best interest to major in neuroscience because that is where my passions lie; I am also considering double majoring or having a minor in english, whichever is more feasible. How hard is it to major in both a science and english, I know that Sally Ride majored in both astrophysics and english; I am prepared to tackle the workload and am willing to make some sacrifices in order to have the education. Thanks for any suggestions.
